The Friends of Cave Creek Canyon held it's first annual meeting last week (see the annual meeting link for details) at the Chiricahua Desert Museum. Officers and board members were elected and last years accomplishments were reviewed. The membership then provided suggestions for projects the friends group could undertake in the following year in cooperation with the Douglas Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest.
Spreading the news about the new Friends of Cave Creek Canyon group requires a multi-prong online approach, one of which is video. Below is a sample video using the Friends of Cave Creek Canyon logo as an introduction. A simple series of then and now photographs taken in the Chiricahua Mountains, it demonstrates what can be created to showcase Cave Creek Canyon and the Chirichua Mountains.
This is so great so see the then and now, as not much of a difference except for Paradise, Az.
ReplyDeleteYour quite right Paradise has changed. The forest has reclaimed the original town site and all the homes are now surrounded by trees.
