Spring in Rodeo New Mexico

It is the last week in February and evidence of spring is all around.  The apple trees at the Painted Pony Resort are in full bloom as evidenced below.  Another sunny day in the valley with guests in residence.

  2. Quite right, nothing could be better except the poppies carpeting the hillsides. I await that scene, should be some good photography.

  4. I heard from one of the guests that the poppies were starting down south towards Douglas, good news. I don't know what kind of apple trees they are, but last year there were about half a dozen small apples.

  5. We attended Silver Creek Church today, milemarker 381 or so; the poppies on the way down Rte 80 were beautiful. The views should get better in the next week or so.

  6. Excellent, I have noticed some yellow starting on the hillsides at the base of the Peloncillo mountains east of the Painted Pony Resort.
