The
Chiricahua Gallery and the
Mixed Nuts of Rodeo both hosted events today in Rodeo. Today is the first day of the Chiricahua Gallery Holiday Arts show while the Mixed Nuts hosted their annual craft fair. Lots of goodies at both places and of course the
George Walker House had 75 lbs of fudge, in a variety of flavors, for sale. I must admit to buying 4 different flavors of chocolate fudge, the chili flavored is perhaps my favorite.

Nice pictures! Missed seeing you around, lots to look at, buy and taste!
ReplyDeleteChile fudge? That sounds like an oxymoron! I like dark chocolate fudge with or without nuts, but I just bought 2 more presents for sister Sue and saved putting some extra pounds directly on my thighs! ha!
ReplyDeleteIf you can keep from eating all of Jackie's marvelous fudge in one sitting, it freezes really well! It's a nice treat to find it in the freezer a couple of months later....
ReplyDeleteChili flavored fudge is something special. The combination of flavors is great. I realize it is not something you find everyday but the combination is a real southwestern specialty.
ReplyDeleteI should point out I never save Jackie's fudge it all goes quickly. I need the calories when out working on fence lines.
me with yummy fudge in my freezer for 2 months? doubt it would ever happen! I'd wait 2 DAYS maybe. She does make the best fudge, although my Dad's fudge was pretty good too. And the way he wrote his recipes gives a great belly laugh or two.
ReplyDeleteFudge, tastes great and good for you, can't get a better combination.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, good for us. Chocolate IS one of the 4 basic food groups!
